Want to perform stories from your life? Are you drawn to the idea of collaborating with other performers to build performance pieces?
Personal Theater honors stories of paths taken and not taken. The lives we have lived inform the stories we tell. Sharing the wisdom we have garnered along the way is our gift to give.
Using easy and fun theatrical forms, we develop performance pieces out of personal stories and create characters out of personal quirks. These groups offer an innovative way to build community and become a social change agent.
Personal Theater classes accommodate performers and non-performers alike. The work develops out of an intimate process of group-building, playfulness and storytelling and can culminate in the creation of an original showcase performance.
